Sturdy Kids was started by a mum who couldn't find clothes to fit her son. Twenty years on, we help thousands of families find school uniform and everyday clothing that fits beautifully, feels comfortable and lets kids just be kids.

I started Sturdy Kids because my son deserved better. So does your child.
In 2006 I was the mum standing in yet another changing room, watching my little boy's face fall because nothing fitted. The trousers that closed at the waist swamped his legs. The ones that fitted his legs wouldn't fasten. And the look on his face broke my heart every single time.
So I stopped waiting for the high street to catch up and started Sturdy Kids. Twenty years later, we've helped tens of thousands of children feel comfortable and confident in clothes made for their bodies, not somebody else's idea of "average".
If you've found us after a hard day, I want you to know: your child is not the problem. The clothes were. We can fix the clothes, and this community can help with the rest.
